3rd Week of Pregnancy

There's a lot going on inside your womb now, yes! A lot. And that tiny little ball corresponds hundreds to thousands of cells that multiplies faster and faster each passing day. And when the tiny ball in your womb “blastocyte” resides in the thick lining of your uterus, then starts the production of HCG hormone (human chorionic gonadotropin). This hormone will make the pregnancy test results to POSITIVE consisting with two lines that tells you “I am pregnant.” It will directly inform the ovaries to stop releasing eggs and activates heighten production of Estrogen as well as Progesterone which stimulates the growth of the placenta and prevents the lining of the uterus from shedding. If you still missed your period about a couple of days and the pregnancy test tells you Negative, then try again for you to know if there is really a human being formed inside your womb.

Everyone of us is unique so even the babies grow a little differently during the cycle of pregnancy. At the same timeamniotic fluid (is the nourishing and protecting liquid; "inhaled" and "exhaled" by the fetus) is starting to form around the blastocyte and later on will become what we call “amniotic sac.” this will protect the baby for weeks to months from any injury that may cause trauma and deficiency. Because the development is still on it's earliest stage, the placenta this time cant support the needs of the baby yet until the end of next week. So at this moment, this tiny little ball of cells is starting to receive enough nourishment as well as oxygen that passes through the fundamental circulation that connects the baby to the blood vessels of the mother's uterine wall.

At 3 weeks, maybe you wont notice that you're a mother now because sometimes, there are no changes yet but in different cases, some women can also be aware that they are ovulating. Some will just ignore the red or pink spots caused by the egg penetrating into the uterine lining and increased discharges. While some will really take a look if they are positively pregnant. At this time, the right choice to know is to weigh yourself at one time to see the difference for you may feel a slight bloating of your abdomen due to ovulation. As time goes by, you will see and find out that your waistline is broadening. Remember ladies, if you knew your a mother now, please be aware of the changes such as weight gain during pregnancy for this is natural.
